About this experience
Japan's most profound spiritual journey — sleep in a Buddhist monastery on Mount Koya (where the founder of Shingon Buddhism has sat in meditation for 1,200 years), and walk the Kumano Kodo pilgrimage trail through ancient cryptomeria forests to the three Grand Shrines of Kumano.
